The Brook Lee Catastrophe landed a gig at the House of Blues Sunset Strip on March 1, 2008. Security was strict and no recording or photos were allowed, but someone bootlegged this video of Brook's new song "Hey Joe". For this song The Catastrophe "frisbeed" out tambourines to the crowd. Even Ryan caught one.

Rock Racing - Here To Stay
Rock Racing professional cycling team is sponsored by Michael Ball, designer and CEO of Rock & Republic, home of $250 denim jeans.
With controversy and style, the team sports a variety of cycling kits.
Cadillac, the support vehicle of Rock Racing.
The 2008 Rock Racing roster includes two former world champions, two Olympic gold medalists, four Tour de France stage winners and eight current and former national champions. All directed by Michael Ball to "win-or-get-fired". Speaking of controversy, check out rider David Clinger. I think he got fired?
So the other day I'm riding home on PCH and came upon this rider. Member of Rock Racing? He was awfully fast. I also saw the Team's 35 ft. rig traveling west on 7th street.

In Memory Of Sheldon Brown
Sheldon Brown recently passed away on February 3rd at the age of 63 from a heart attack. He is known as the "bicycle mechanic" guru with a 2,000 page website on almost every cycling topic. Check out and bookmark http://www.sheldonbrown.com/. He also provided tech-geek and creative solutions, one-on-one, to cyclists via e-mail, about 200 per day. By this, he changed the world.
For more information, check out the Harris Cyclery website where Sheldon was employed.
As many people from around the world have blogged, the best way to honor Sheldon is to ride your bike and to use your own knowledge to help someone else be a better rider. That is his legacy, and we can all keep it alive.
From: Adventure Cyclist Magazine-February, 2008
I thought, in honor of Sheldon Brown, I'd do a ride in his kit.
